Earthstar Bright
Earthstar Bright
Karen had worked hard to bring something special to LeamStone. The funding had come through for a ten-week programme of community activities, and she wanted this first session to feel different — not just tea and biscuits, but something that might actually touch people.
The village itself was beautiful in that quiet English way: winding lanes, mature hedgerows, the gentle Sanctuary Waterway, and the old medieval church at its heart. A mix of long-time residents and newer faces gathered in the bright community hall that morning.
Among them were the visiting Punjabi elders — Jaginder, Ranjit, Jaswinder Kaur, and Soan Singh — part of a gentle cross-community exchange. They brought warmth and curiosity with them.
Then Kadance arrived.
She walked across the field toward the hall with an effortless grace that made Karen pause. Tall, with long blonde hair and an unusual, almost luminous quality to her presence. Her clothes seemed to shift with soft, opalescent colours. She carried herself like someone who had walked between worlds.
Inside the circle, Kadance spoke with calm certainty. She talked about the hidden power of the land, about LeamStone sitting on something ancient and alive — a dragon line, she called it. The room listened, spellbound.
Then she asked a simple question:
“Would you like to travel in a spaceship?”
There was gentle laughter at first. But when Kadance guided them to close their eyes and count down, something shifted.
When they opened their eyes, the solid walls of the community hall had become translucent. Shimmering columns of light pulsed through them. Kadance invited them to step through.
They did. On the other side was the Earthstar Bright — an enormous, luminous craft filled with beings of light who felt like old friends. The air hummed with unconditional love. No one felt afraid. It felt like coming home.
Kadance explained gently that they had been chosen because of the land beneath their feet and the openness in their hearts. They were being invited to help stabilise something ancient that was waking up.
For what felt like hours, but was only minutes in real time, they worked together with light, sound, and intention. Patterns of coherence formed. Old distortions softened. The group discovered they each carried a different gift — translation, grounding, emotional holding, structural clarity.
When it was time to return, the chamber softened and released them. They blinked back into the parish hall. The clock showed only thirty minutes had passed.
The door opened and a council representative walked in with unexpected news: the heritage funding had been increased significantly. LeamStone was now recognised as a protected heritage-linked wellbeing site.
As people began to leave, small, strange, and beautiful things started happening. A blocked phone call connected. Long-unresolved messages arrived. Concepts that had felt stuck suddenly became clear. Hearts felt lighter, yet more aware.
Karen stood outside the parish gate for a long moment. She didn’t rush to plan the next thing. She simply stood and felt the village breathing around her.
Something had changed. Not loudly. But deeply.
We are not here to fix everything at once.
We are here to hold coherence long enough for the system to remember how to hold itself.
The land is patient.
So are we.— Kadance
